Dr. Castillo received his MD from Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana, Mexico City, Mexico. He completed his post-educational training in Internal Medicine at the University of Massachusetts and in Hematology-Oncology at Brown University.
Dr. Castillo has served as chief medical resident at the University of Massachusetts and, most recently, as an assistant professor of Medicine and of Hematology/Oncology at Brown. He is a highly regarded physician and teacher who is respected by both his patients and peers, and has a strong publication track record in prominent peer-reviewed hematology/oncology journals.
