Affiliated Faculty
The Division of Population Sciences core faculty are independent investigators with primary academic appointments at Harvard Medical School and the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health. Physicians and researchers in the Division of Population Sciences may also have joint appointments in a Dana-Farber clinical division or department. Core faculty devote most of their time to research that includes identification of cancer risk, risk mitigation, early detection, prevention, delivery of cancer care, cancer care quality and outcomes, and health policy, and as such have full access to all division administrative resources. All Population Sciences investigators welcome collaboration from internal and external faculty across all research themes.
Affiliated faculty have primary employment in other divisions or departments within Dana-Farber, or in departments outside of Dana-Farber at one of the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center partner institutions. Affiliated faculty seek to engage with Population Sciences investigators to learn, collaborate, or observe in our dry lab research environment.
Affiliated faculty in the Division of Population Sciences/McGraw Patterson Center for Population Sciences:
- Have two-year affiliated appointments with renewable terms.
- Have access to various division conferences, seminars, workshops, and events. Affiliated faculty are recommended to participate in these presentations, as well.
- Are included in the ability to access data resource sharing and other division-specific research tools on an as-needed basis.
- Must complete all Dana-Farber onboarding and compliance requirements to maintain affiliation.
