Biography
Sarah E. Slater, MD
Dr. Slater graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and completed residency and hematology and oncology fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Additionally, she completed a fellowship in hospice and palliative medicine in the Harvard Palliative Medicine program. She specializes in the care of patients with gastrointestinal cancers, including colorectal, pancreatic, esophageal and neuroendocrine tumors. She is also a faculty member of the Center for Global Cancer Medicine at DFCI, which helps to provide cancer care in resource limited settings.
